Trees possess more than strength:

Moonbeams caress the weeping willows

Swooning like a virgin brides

Bedecked in their finest silken dresses

Curtseying to the springs dawn

Rows of ballerinas swaying in the breeze

Revealing their silvered underskirt to the meandering river

Whispering for lovers to sit

To recline in their shade in the heat of the day

Silent chaperones that protect

Like it! My first kiss was under a willow. I prefer Bigpapdan kisses now, hey maybe I’ll drag him under a willow!!
