We are all guilty of something. Unless we find a release this guilty can eat us up daily. Let’s not be sentenced, convicted and tried by our guilt.

My guilt squeezes and binds me.

It just won’t let me loose.

My heart screams deep inside me,

to tell the simple truth.

Guilt eats away my mind

and makes me so confused.

Let me describe this guilt inside.

It’s a tormenting, mental abuse.

I must break free.

Of the guilt in me, and

release this inner suffering.

Don’t you agree?

Absolutely! We are so quick to convict and condemn ourselves. And even after we have been forgiven by God and others, we won’t forgive ourselves.

I certainly do agree. Feelings of guilt are bad for your health. Good work.

Imperfections from past interactions can be used to inspire us to future improvement.
