A gay love poem.

You wrap me in your warmth

When I’m chilled to the bone

Because of you I know

That I am not alone

You comfort and calm me

With patience and kindness

You see the real me

When most suffer from blindness

You’re not the open book

That I attempt to be

But your phrases reveal

Inner complexity
