An image as I land in Australia.
Haft way There
We descend from the sky.
The moon sparkles like divine star.
The stars morning dew upon the leafs.
The gray clouds part to reveal a sliver of golden sun.
The glass cool against my cheek, as the wing tips.
The sky painted pink, orange, purple and red.
The city was a blaze of starlight diamonds.
The wing tipped and day turned to night.
The stars were blazing and moon had a gentle glow.
Finely the we went to land as the sky was split in two.
Haft day and haft night.
The sun over the land I was traveling to
And the moon over the water I had crossed.
As we land the night finely leaves
And is replaced by a new day.
