I am sitting on my couch and feel the winter cold creeping in all around me late at night.

So bleak and piercing.

Like Russia, windswept, frozen.

Unwelcome Winter.

I’ve been through Utah in the winter, I actually thought it was beautiful. But then, I was just passing through. Nice haiku.

I’d love to be in a Utah winter right now. We’ve had over a week where it is 40 degrees celsius plus.

Too hot. But then, it is summer here in Australia.

Thanks for all the comments! Joni, the snow is nice at first but once it gets old, stops actually snowing and all the dirty snow is piling up on the street, it becomes very tiring and a bit depressing.
Carolyn, I have always wanted to visit Australia, its hard to think of summer in January ;)
Clay, hows the lobster out there in Maine? ;)

You have put it well. I hate it; the snow and cold. Put it in a picture frame, and it’s beautiful, but not if I have to live in it. Lol

I wonder what winter is like… I never experience winter in my life!

;) AC, a great sense of humor as always. Its amazing what a frame can do to an image..frame a picture of some dirt, and you have a masterpiece!

Yovita, where are you from if you dont mind me asking? My wife is from California and she had never experienced a white winter before so she loves it here.
