Don’t let this warning fall on deaf ears.

Image via Wikipedia

The witches brew their potions

And zombies lurch from their graves.

Vampires rule the land tonight.

Humans, be very afraid.

The Lord of the Morning Star

Walks the earth tonight again.

His minions have gathered to celebrate.

The dark world is his domain.

Don’t dress up your little children.

Keep them home where it’s safe and warm.

Evil rules the Earth tonight.

The demons are in human form.

When all the clocks strike at midnight,

Unearthly shrieks you will hear.

Stay away from your doors and your windows.

You may be sure that evil is near.

When at last the morning sun breaks the darkness,

Perhaps then, it will be safe to come outside.

By then, the Devil will have had his party,

And will have chosen the next virgin to be his new bride.
