Happiness Rocks a poem by Jennifer Jo Fay. Poems of inspiration, and poems for the soul. Hold onto your dreams.

Happiness Rocks

My happiness comes from within.

How about yours?

How do you hold onto your happiness?

I just let mine go with the flow.

I don’t linger in sorrows sunken ship.

I don’t let a grudge stop me from

holding onto good thoughts.

I don’t harbor sadness from the distant past.

I hold in my bucket of dreams

a lifetime of good memories, happy times

and good things.

My bucket is filled with

hopes and dreams,

no sunken rocks to weight me down.

I live in the moment

and keep churning out thoughts.

I keep rolling with the click of the keys

and I don’t linger too long.

And I don’t resent a thing,

and I hold onto my happy disposition.

I don’t let myself

get locked up in sadness.

I’m not in a dungeon

worrying about what could have been.

I live and love for a new day

that hasn’t yet dawned.

I have hope and faith

that all will work out.

And each day

reveals a present

a gift of life

that I am still here

to live and love for another day.
