When I was searching for a site to publish at little did I know that I would find some wonderful people that I now think of as family. Chan is one of them, and what is more amazing about our friendship is that it started out with me being offended and leaving a comment to spout off on one of Chan’s articles. The grace that it was handled with was the beginning of something remarkable. Normally if I do not agree with a writer, I just move on. What made me leave that comment that day? I truly believe that it was God’s hand.

Happy birthday, my dear Chan

I am glad I took a stand

And opposed your words long ago

I found a sibling in a foe

Words I thought were meant to hurt

Talked of women who like to flirt

But those words hid a heart of gold

The most precious to behold

Many times I found words so wise

They were magic to my eyes

Thoughtfulness beyond compare

In my sibling do I share

A shoulder to lean on when I tire

A hand to lift me from the fire

A push to spur me in my quest

The day I met you, I was blessed

Happy birthday, my dear Chan,

I am glad I took a stand!

    Sister,

Thanks for this lovely poem. First of all, I beg your pardon for any inconveniences that I’ve caused or may cause. I also would like to seek for your forgiveness on behalf of my mistakes.

Ya, we did have a debate on that particular issue. But, because of this article, we’re connected with a good relationship.

I thank you for educating me. My wisdom grows with your remarks, comments, comforts and guidances. I especially thank you for uplifting me at the moments when I was down. If not because of your endless love, support and comfort, I think I might not be here writing the articles.

Indeed, my success is because of your kind words and support. I therefore have you had my glory here. Well, I also would like to thank Lisa and Kim from Triond for completing our relationship. And special thanks also go to the editorial teams and staffs at Triond.

And I just wish that everyone from this world will benefit from my articles. I’d happy to see this world with less diseases, less sufferings and lessen agonies before my breathing stops one day.

My success is not wholly owned by me. It’s yours, Triond’s, fans’, readers’, patients’, friends’ and anyone’s success from this world.

    Love you,
    Chan

surprise and delight us so many times

so often ends with the opposite fate!
