This time of year we dress up

in our favorite costume theme

and on this night we go out

with friends to trick-or-treat

Door to door we go

saying Happy Halloween

or trick-or-treat may have you

but you get what I mean

By the end of all that walking

for no house has been missed

and our stomachs are so bloated

from our candy’s sugar bliss

No matter what your age

no matter what you do

this Halloween night

is forever up to you

Some people go to parties

some people stay at home

and pass out loads of candy

or some say no ones home

Whatever it may be

it’s only once a year

this spooky night of pumpkins

and ghosts and witches here
