Just a challenge for myself. I have written an A to Z acrostic poem earlier, but this one is related to New Year.
Happy New Year to all my friends!
Another new year is on the way
Better days will be here to stay
Come on friends, don’t be dismayed
Do what is right, come what may
Everyday we shall be feeling gay
Family and friends make our days
Good health, good wealth, oh, hurray!
Hope everything turns out just your way
If ever you need help, don’t feel shy to say
Just don’t ask me for money, as high interest to pay
Keep smiling, people like to see a happy face
Ladies, may you be beautiful as a sweet bouquet
Men, may you be successful and become a towkay
Never say never, you will as long as you have faith
Oh, so many good stuff, what more can I say?
People I know here, make Triond a better place
Quitting Triond I may regret, so I think I shall stay
Right now I just have many good words to convey
Sending my good wishes, is this crazy poem okay?
Thank you very much, I know you will say okay, another hurray!
Understanding between friends, friendship won’t fade away
Very soon we will be a year older than yesterday
Wish you all the best in the new year and also any day
XO a bottle, let’s drink, otherwise plain water can replace
Yam Seng! Yam Seng! Drink for a good year, Yay, Yay!
Zzzz, oh, I’m tired after composing this acrostic poem, okay, okay
