December the 31st of 2009 is the date of the most recent Blue moon. Not only do we have a Blue moon on this night, but it also is a moon eclipse. So, this New Years Eve is bound to be a special one for sure. With Venus in Pluto the planet of love it could be a lucky night for romance.

A Blue Moon happens when more than three full moons occur in a season, or more than one full moon occurs in a month, hence the saying “Once in a Blue moon”.
