Happy Father’s Day to my dad

That you’re mine, I sure am glad

If I had another I’d be real sad

Because he’d probably be real bad

I hope you think this poem is snappy

Since you’ve had others so very sappy

That expressed how well you’ve done as a pappy

And made me oh-so-very happy

This one will be short and sweet

To tell you that it would be a treat

If I could be there to greet

You, in person, yes that’d be neat

But I am very far away

And cannot be there, no how, no way

So to you I just want to say
