My Child Hood days were all infaid

with songs and laughter’s I enjoyed.

The toys which my father made,

Were things of love replete with joy.

My friends and I had all the fun

from early morn till late at dusk.

We played at home and around the farms

singing some songs of the golden past.

As years went by I grew to learn

so many things my parents taught;

To till the fields,to hunt I yearned;

caring for pets I also sought.

The work I did by my father’s side

gave him unnebing pride.

“My daughter is grown up now” he sighed

“to do my work whenever I am tired.”

The best thing that my parents craved,

rear me up with values and health.

With tender love schooling they gave;

The knowledge I got is more than wealth.

Their love for me is none compare

with what the others can do or give.

All the joys I have, with them I share,

They are my pride, my inspiration to live.

I always come to think of them

in hours of joy or in a gloomy day.

So, on this significant day I warmly greet them

“HAPPY, HAPPY VALENTINES DAY.”
