A ghost story.
Walking in my house at night
All the lights are out
I see a thing that frightens me
And makes me wanna shout.
It doesn’t have a body
It’s just a silhouette
It darts across my living room
But doesn’t seem a threat.
I question if this thing is real
Or just a figment of my mind
I found the switch and turn it on
It’s gone and I feel blind.
My body starts to shake
And I start to say some prayers
And that’s when I experienced
My actual living nightmare.
A growling noise was heard
And the cabinets started shaking
I turned on the kitchen light
And saw the glass cups breaking.
I packed my bags and left that night
Cause the courage that I lacked
I grabbed my son and locked the door
And never will go back.
