Molecules debating

raining down from a blasted sun

the only survivor here

shadowed in the storm

the light is not my friend

i just hold my breath

and walk on through each night

digging thumbs into my eyes

recurring insistence that i am still alive

do not evacuate my time

here i’ll stay with my blisters

watching you all leave

from the crack in my door

with the holes in the walls

flying through acres of debris

in a washed out soul

with the thorns piercing my lungs

detection of unamended attention

resting in solitude

silence cackling in the heat

of burnt out wavering mannequins

talking of dying visions

draped in haunted light

and cold desert thunders

finding comfort in the fact

had i not been deserted

i would have still died

all alone inside

I like how your poem starts out raining down from a blazing sun., I guess this could be a ghostly poem.
