Nelson Research company is sponsoring that ad. I was suspicious so I looked them up. They advertise they you get $2000 of grocery savings and they track the coupons, hence the "research".
But don’t fall for it!!
A news producer heard about it and signed up to see what it was all about. You get:
A “US Patriot Card” for store discounts.
A “Liberty Fun Pass” for theme park and activity discounts.
$1,000 in coupons from a company called GrocerySavers.com.
What they don’t tell you is that the “patriot card” is $19 a month, the fun pass is another $19 a month, amounting to about $400 per year! You don’t get all the coupons at once but $10 at a time with a $2 shipping fee.
I also read in a forum that they sign you up for several memberships when you sign up for these coupons that will charge your credit or debit card a total of around $80 per month and it’s a real pain to call them all and cancel the memberships you didn’t ask for in the first place.
So beware! If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is deceptive!
