"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for My I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" Luke 1:28-29.

            Darkness engulfed my surroundings

            Darkness even in my faith

            In my relationships

            In my finances

            Hope seemed like a myth

In my night I cried to Yahshua

In darkness I called on His name

            I prayed for deliverance

Asking for His rest and peace

Desiring the joy of His salvation

He heard me and turned my night

            into day

            My wailing into dancing

            He has given me beauty

            for ashes

            Clothing me with a garment

            of praise instead of mourning

I praise Him for His faithfulness

            His mercy endures forever

His goodness testify of His love

He is a father to the fatherless

            A husband to the widow

He fights the cause of the alien

            healing the brokenhearted

            He is the true liberator!

Amen to this. So many people think that serving God will imprison them, when the reality is that God will set us free!

Food for thought. There is always hope, a little ray of light no matter how dark. Just takes a bit of finding sometimes.
