The last laugh.
He ran around
Didn’t give a care
Looked me in the eye
Lied to my face
He turned away laughing
Believing I believed his lie
He must take me for a fool
A big mistake on his part
Moving along down the line
Having a good laugh
Unaware of what is to come
Not a clue, his termination is at my hand
It’s time to turn the tables now
Looked him in the eye
Told the truth to his face
Laughing as I turned away
He who laughs last laughs best
