Beware, those who cause others pain. You too may be forced to drink from the chalice of torment.

Blinded by fear,
Bound by chains of self-doubt,
Confidence crushed by cruelty,
The cry of the silent sufferer slices through the air tonight.

Abused, mistreated,
Trust violated thoughtlessly,
Victims at the hand of guiltless rage,
The cry of the silent sufferer slices through the air tonight.

Bruises and scars don’t fade tonight,
The wounds don’t heal, the blood still flows.

Insults and slander don’t fade tonight,
The harsh words burrow into a hollow confidence.

Torment, anguish, pain and affliction,
Sow seeds that birth an intention akin to that of life itself:
They shall take root, flourish, and prepare to spread.

As the victim is preyed upon, so eventually shall that shattered consciousness,
Desire to become the hunter, and sow the seeds of torment and pain.
An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

He who sows shall reap the same.

brought out the dread in me.. you painted a dark background at the onset and kept it up to the end.. this would really tug at the conscience of those who sowed bad seeds..

That’s a horrible forecast for mankind. I had rather look at the good seeds we can plant but it’s your poem. Grim but well expressed.

I read your poem and was aborbed by it, for the begining is what I’m feeling right now. I know your last statements can be true, just not with me. I can’t let it happen. I refuse to came to that level. I can’t let that evil seed be sown in me.
