Headlight seen on distant highway before dawn.
The sun will be rising soon
Above the black horizon the sky was orange
But now has changed to rust
Sharp contrast to the light gray sky
There are but few clouds
Thin wispy things of steal gray
On the highway in the far distance
Headlights stream in compact bunches, why is that
Sunrises change from day to day
Yesterday’s was more rose than orange
Those colors mixed, does that color even have a name
But the constant is the headlights far away
