For my mother-in-law following heart surgery.

Rivers flow,
Winds blow;
Life returns to the wounded land.
Blood to heart,
Lungs fill their part;
You begin to feel the Healing Hand.

Cloudy days,
Sunny rays;
As you sail across cresting seas.
Bumpy roads,
Heavy loads;
The path ahead not one of ease.

Health returns,
Spirit yearns;
A wish to taste the fruitful wine.
Gentle smiles,
Over the miles,
As you finally say, “I am fine”.

Lease on life;
No more strife,
As you reach deep inside The Well.
Joyous delight,
Peaceful night;
The story will be yours to tell.
