Health is good and health is fun

But it isn’t there for everyone.

In the Northern Territory

It’s a down right catastrophe,

With most of the Aborigine

Being quite unable to see.

So, what can we do to put things right?

And return these poor people’s sight!

We tried to intervene,

But they weren’t so keen.

When the army went in,

They said it was a sin.

“Abuse of human rights” they claimed

And so it was that Howard was blamed.

But now its time for health reform,

To improve conditions, for when bubs are born.

We will have increased local autonomy,

Paid for by the states GST…

But, I don’t want to pay for some hussy,

To start getting, medically fussy.

If you chose to get knocked up

All you should need is a coat hanger and cup!

Old people will get help too…

Money well spent? It’s a personal view…

An aging population is high on our agenda,

I think we should just invest in a giant blender.

I’m sure they’ve done a lot for us

But now they just take seats on the bloody bus.

So yes, I’m looking forward to see

How our future heath will be.

If Rudd can make Casemix clear,

I really would love to hear.

So here’s my vote up for grabs,

Anything towards the treatment of crabs.
