God please hear my prayer tonight,
because I feel that something’s not right.
I’m not sure of the feeling deep within my core,
please make it go away I can’t stand it any more.
You said that you would help if ever I should call,
please help me God I’m backed against a wall.
I yearn for the peace I’ve heard so much of,
shelter from the storm with just your love.
I need a little light to help guide my way,
and a little more faith with each new day.
Give me the courage to see things though,
because I just coulden’t do it without you.
