Ever loved someone, but been unable to tell them? Ever loved someone, but didn’t want to tell them?

Heart, Break

I live life with this burden-
Fastened tightly to my core
One could sever it, remove it,
And two would pain me more.
Hammer it shut, conceal it,
That what I would term a curse,
To others despite splinters,
It is greatness, blessing, or worse!
For my tongue I must withhold,
And my heart would have me lose
This offspring of god’s memory
The shining darkness of the Muse,
And not is what will do for dreams
While not is what not seems.
