Poem about the struggle between rationality and instinct.

Through smiles of woe
And tears of joy,
A venture does
The heart employ.

And brave and bold
The heart that sings.
And walks the sky
On golden wings.

The mind (cannot
The heart control)
The beating ones
Almighty foe.

With paranoia
Doubts and fears,
The mind delays and
Marks the years,

And hesitates
Where heart would go,
Without a backward
Glance to note.

To control the mind
Is easy.
To control the heart
Is to die
