A poem about jealousy and insecurity.
Her
I don’t blame her, I fell for you too,
She knows you’re mine but her eyes are on you.
As friendships go she’s crossing the line,
She’ll do all she can despite knowing you’re mine.
She watches us kiss, wishes she were me,
Why do I find good in everyone I see?
Funny how she calls herself a friend
Yet she’s trying so hard to make my happiness end.
She flutters her eyes as if butter wouldn’t melt,
But it hurts me, I wish she knew how it felt,
She knows she could have you, why would you say no?
I laugh at her flirting so the hurt doesn’t show.
She’s gorgeous and she knows how to use it,
She got my trust but is happy to abuse it,
She’s got what I don’t, and a man has needs,
It’s just a matter of time before she succeeds.
