I really wish I could tell you her name but it’s illegal to say, at least it is for me, forbidden, taboo, and just plain wrong. A name lost to the ages, lost to the pages, and lost to me forever, her name has become unspeakable.

I looked for beauty, here’s what it said

Her name is …, that’s what I read

No other words could ever be seen

Most beautiful girl and everything

So I pondered awhile for synonyms

Every word you’re there again

So then dear … my angel above

Another word I searched for love

Looked for love, again there you are

Her name is …, and now so far

That every time a word comes to mind

I find you waiting all of the time

No wonder the words I write won’t do

Because all of them draw back to you

So beautiful as the stars beam

One more word I ponder a dream

Search for dream within the night

Her name is …, under starlight

I want to give up, what else can I do

All my words but all are of you

My love for you with all of my heart

I search for your name and can’t make a start

Beauty, love, all it seems

Her name is …, in only my dreams
