Here I am again
Again in your arms
Arms that keep me warm

Warm like a blanket
Blanket that is soft
Soft like plush velvet

Velvet that surrounds
Surrounds me in a hug
Hug that gives me bliss

Bliss filled with rapture
Rapture of delight
Delight that transports

Transports to heaven
Heaven of lovers
Lovers from the past

Past that haunts me so
So much memories
Memories that live

Live in my conscious
Conscious of my soul
Soul that embraces

Embraces just you
You I only want
Want you my one need

Need I have to have
Have to have you now
Now and forever

Forever I love
Love that will remain
Remain in your heart

Heart that beats with hope
Hope for our future
Future that is here

It is so cool to read all your poetic stylings; bravo for trying your hand at different types of poetry. I like the poems where you show us more imagery and lots of detail. That is one thing I notice most in your longer prose pieces and that I like a lot.
