A poem about a beautiful valley.

Here in the Valley

Here in the valley where wildflowers grow

I sit by the river, as it forever flows

A soft warm breeze touches me with a kiss

A gentle caress, such a wonderful bliss

Fragrant is the kiss placed upon me there

As the scent of lilacs perfumes the air

A beautiful melody upon my ears fall

as the song of a meadowlark calls

As I bask in the sun’s magnificent glow

It’s warmth touches me from head to toe

A serene smile is upon my face

Oh, this is such a beautiful place

The beauty of it all infuses my soul

An amazing feeling within me grows

I am filled with peace as I become one with nature

To be one with the earth is to be one with my creator
