Two young twins are locked in a cupbaord away from civilistation, because they are being held hostage as prisoners of war. one hangs themselves and the other watches his life flash before him as a gun is placed in his face when he sees the sunlight for the first time in months, and just after they open the door they shoot him dead.

Alone in the dark
You two sit by yourselves
Waiting for a sign
Waiting for the right moment
To escape from this inner
Black hole of broken promises
And the lies you both try to shut out
You wait patiently
It has already been three days
And already your minds
Begin to break
The cracks are shown
As cry’s of despair
Show that your strength
And will to carry on
Is weakening
The dark shadow creeps
Up into your souls
Taking over and turning you both mad
You both scream for this
Nightmare to end
But it only gets worse
As one of you
Ties a long rope
Around your neck whilst
The other sleeps soundly
And in the dead of night
All that is heard
Is the cracking of a bone
And a blood curdling scream
All alone you wait by yourself
With your twin dangling
From a rope
And yet you still wait
Patiently
After a few days
Of sleepless nights a light
Shines through the cracks in the door
And you cover your eyes
Blocking out the blinding light
You are afraid and distraught
And have only suddenly
Began to grieve for your
Unfortunate and weak twin
You blink back the angry tears
And punch the door in a last
Attempt to escape
The door swings open
A shotgun is seen
But the face of the person
Is covered by the blaze of light
You stare open mouthed
At the gun
Rooted to the spot
All your senses alert
Especially your hearing
You hear the sound of the
Trigger being pulled back
Before the final click
The smell and feel of fresh air
On your face
Makes your last experience alive
A memorable one
