One of my darker poems, hope you enjoy. Would love to hear your feedback.

Snippet taken by Author.

You don’t know what is hidden in the dark,
One tiny ember waiting to spark
Uncontrollable fire

You don’t see what’s under this façade
Just a jet black heart, stone cold hard
Feeling no desire

It may look nice and pretty from afar
but here there are no moon and stars
Just a hopeless sky

She paints on a smile and pretends
Puts on a charade and acts like she on the mend
but it is just another lie

When she is in the dark,
She uncovers her secrets never told
In reality there is no spark,
Nor any gold

I think you suffer from depression like me. Good poem, keep writing it will save you.

Your words seem to bring out the depth within you or feelings you have had. You print them well with these stanzas.
