The mind draws a blank

My head hurting as I yearn to remember

What do these items mean to me

Who are these people

The questions wonder on

I stop at a picture of a boy

He has long black hair

His eyes green like a scale of a dragon

I feel my heart pounding and deep connection

My heart tell me I love this boy

Yet I cannot remember anything

A name comes to thought

I play with a locket on my neck

The more I mess with it, it opens

Then before my eyes

I see a picture of us kissing

If only I could remember him more

My last reaction is the want to see him

I want to know him so that I may love him

My heart hopes he will accepted me

My heart hopes that one day my memories of him will return

For somehow I know he is my soul mate
