Hell, hole.
~**Hidey Hole..(To hell) **~
There’s a creepy little hidey hole,
Beneath the cellar floor..
It’s been there for a while,
A couple years or more.
And no ones dared go near it,
Well as far as we can tell,
Because it is often thought…
That it’s the hidey hole to Hell.
That is until the other day,
My father he did go,
Down into the cellar
With his friends, the hole to show
What happened there, I’m afraid
Will cause you much surprise,
For he found there was a price to pay
For crawling down inside
Now brave he wasn’t’t, but he claimed,
That he really was,
And into the hole he strayed
He crawled in just because.
Then once inside the blackness there
Something caused him fear
Grey it turned his jet black hair
When something Dark came near
He said it lurched, out to hold
Him by his shaking hand,
Well this is what his story told
He couldn’t’t bear to stand!
And then it climbed up on his back
His neck trying to choke
He nearly had a heart attack
He swears it is no joke!
His friends outside the hidey spot
Heard his screams and groans
Go in to rescue?… they would not
Because of all Dad’s moans
In fear they turned, tailed and ran
Up the cellar stairs,
Childlike fear, overcoming men
On the back of necks.. stood hairs.
They couldn’t’t get out quick enough,
They just had to flee!
These cowards thought that they were tough
But in fear, they failed to be
All the while my father there,
Within the hidey hole,
Was wrestling with the eyes that stared
Which tried to take his soul!
And to this day, he’s never gone back
Down the stairs, again to see
For he has boarded up, the hole that’s black
With bricks, wood and concrete
Now every night my father tells,
The story of the hidey hole.
Of all the screaming, and those who wail
And things that shouldn’t’t be told.
But though we do not understand,
Just what the word “Hell” means,
We see his face, turns pasty white,
When he describes the screams.
Its his story of the hidey hole,
Beneath the cellar floor.
Its been there for a while, Dad says
A couple of years or more.
No ones dared go near it,
Well as far as he can tell
Until that day fateful day, my father crawled…….
Through the hidey hole to Hell
