His Final View is a doomed love poem for Triond Writing Challenge Round 29 organized by Duff D Moss. Challenged words are lunar anomaly and spider.

His Final View

Every night spider looked up at the sky.
He enjoyed the lady changing face.
Fondness for this beauty was scoring high.
Would she take his affection with grace?

Pure white beam cleansed one’s distress.
Tranquility amplified in the night.
Passing loneliness was not a stress.
Eight legs were busy in doing right.

Threads were crossing here and there,
Weaving to capture the lady more,
A full possession holy to dare,
Till end, eyes were blood red and sore.

Lunar anomaly was all he got,
Full moon kissed him good-bye in red hot.

    WTF???

Anyway – yeah – lovely peace. What a torture it would be to always see an unattainable desire.

The picture could have stood alone to satisfy the challenge.

The poetry equally hit home. Great job!
