What happened?

In the midst of crazy talk

And heated conversations,

My time was nearing an end,

Although I did want to extend…

It’s been awhile since I found a friend

To talk without thinking or meanings pretend.

Then I gently had to warn the time is up

I had to disconnect, I had to stop, had to shutup.

All so suddenly, he disappeared without a word.

He left me looking at space, the silence was absurd.

I was the one to hang up since I had to leave?

Why did he disconnect? It was upsetting and hard to believe.

I consoled myself, praying everything should be fine.

I waited somemore; at the other end of the line.

Making others wait was not a wise thing to do…

So I left the line, and continued to carry on, to move.

Hoping he’d contact me and explain how or why..

No rest of mind till I heard him say,”God Bless, goodbye.”
