A dedication to all of the military wives out there who are holding down the fort!

Hold it down, baby

Just a little while longer

You know what they say

This will only make us stronger

So hold it down, sweetie

It’s just another year

Kiss my baby goodnight

And wipe away her tear

Hold it down, darling

Don’t worry that pretty head

The time will go by quickly

Just stay busy instead

Hold it down, lover

I’ll be back before you know

It’s not as bad as you think

This time will help us grow

Don’t let things slip

We’re inching our way closer

The future’s within grip

We’re depending on you here

If not for your strength

We’d not survive this year
