Love poem with an unexpected twist.

Image via Wikipedia

I’ve loved and lost so many times

As many of us do

But now I’ve found my soul mate and

I’ve gotta hold onto you

I haven’t felt this way in years

So giddy and brand new

To keep this feeling, I know that

I need to hold onto you

Often times I’m awestruck

You’re too good to be true

Your love for me is all I need

I must hold onto you

Never thought I’d be so smitten

After years of being blue

And I will do all that I can

Just to hold onto you

I’m floating high above the clouds

Much like the morning dew

And the only way to stay here

Is to hold onto you

You make me so very happy

And say you’re happy, too

Just wondering what SHE would say

If I hold onto you

Hold on life has more to give
    Than to take
    Hold on I still wait.

    You are qualitative
    I am quantitative,
    Still we must hold on
    As all we have common
    Is total equality

    Please do hold on
    ‘Tis good too
    You never know
    When the hold will loosen
Ah! The one they\\\’ll be holding
    Is not you.

Hold on till the cows come home
There is more love in holding
    Of what remains
    When we have held on
    For long
    Love my friend also sustains.

great poem, love the twisted end, just don’t hold so tight and go so high that the enevitable fall dosen’t crush you. LOVE IT!! :D
