Vers libre.
She has learnt to hide her tears well
In the darkness of night, she does dwell
Upon dreams that refuse to go away
Recurring in the unconsciousness of slumber
her body quiescent,mind percipient
A vagary of fantasy spills forth.
In the hypnosis of the physique
The mind takes a catnap from reality
Dormant desires rationalize their way
Into the intellect of the waking mind.
She is on a chimerical journey
Not filled with delusions or illusions
Flying to places where the feet or fate
cannot carry.
A penchant for letting her thoughts roam
Reverie broken by the speculation of a new day.
