Freezing cold
shifting wind
bending light
frost begins
mahogany door
chimney smoke
supper time
with kin folk
cozy room
hot tea
singing Christmas carols
with chocolate sweets.

Now you’ve done it! I usually can hold myself back from Christmas carols and trimming the house until the day after Thanksgiving. But with this poem in front of me…
