A poem about the month of December.

Image via Wikipedia

The twelfth month of the year brings more then just holiday cheer.

Friends and love and festivities glow all around for us my dear.

The weather in the north has also changed

snow, and cold, and sometimes rain.

The thermometer drops and more clothes we wear

oh my god this is all insane.

Gifts are bought and crowds we weave

tempers flow as we try to achieve.

The kids are excited with each day that passes

knowing that fat guy will soon come.

Was I good or bad this year?

Will he give me what I want so I have won?

There are also others not so lucky at all

too many bills to pay, no money and they fall.

There are no gifts and sometimes not even a tree

and they ask for help but without such glee.

Do you pass that bell ringer by in front of the mall

not thinking twice why they are there and to you they call?

This time of the year should melt all our hearts

and helping others should be top of doing your part

help someone else instead of running fast and just depart.

I guarantee if you follow your heart

this season will be happier I promise you’ll see.

So with all this said

Happy Holidays to all

may your heart shine through that Christmas tree.

Never forget the true meaning of Christmas. Christmas is about caring, family and friends.

Christmas is about giving. Here is my gift to you:
