You know what they say about the best laid plans.

Thanksgiving Day came.
With family and friends.
We ate lots of turkey.
And pies to no end.

Black Friday came in.
On a wet windy day.
Our son and granddaughters came over.
It was such a nice stay.

Then Saturday blew in.
On a cold north wind.
My daughter and I went Christmas shopping.
We had fun at the discount bins.

But later on Saturday.
Illness was found.
With nausea and vomiting.
To my bed, I was bound.

Sunday was better.
I could keep food down.
Just goes to show you.
You never know what will come around.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving Day and weekend. This is to let you know where I have been these last few days. My daughter and I had breakfast out on Sat morning and we both got food poisoning. It was a terrible Sat night and all day Sunday. I had planned to write and catch up with my Triond friends before I went back to work. But I was sick instead. Hope to catch up with you all soon.

    Take care, Pam

We should take every day as it comes, and make most of it.

I am so glad you are feeling better. Perhaps you over indulged which we always seem to do when we celebrate. A well expressed piece.
