A little Halloween poem I did last year.

I’ll tell you a story of Halloween,

The scariest one that’s ever been

With witches, scarecrows, and a single black knight

That will jump from the shadows and give you a fright!

You see, one night the witches got bored

They found some spirits, where spirits are stored

They conjured up a plan, a dastardly scheme;

To turn Halloween into something extreme!

“Bubbles and bibles, clouds for the sun,

Make sure Halloween is a ton of fun!”

But as witches say ‘fun,’ they mean ‘chaotic,’

Their plan made people look really idiotic;

Trolls drank tea, and fairies were mean,

The ghosts were polite, which made demons scream!

The witches laughed and laughed some more,

But little did they know what they had in store!

An unfortunate bat found its way to their lair

With slug eyes, Spiders, and goblin hair

It knocked down a potion, and down it fell

It hit the witches and broke their spell!

Halloween was safe, thanks to that bat

Unfortunately, it was eaten by my cat,

He now speaks to me night and day,

He even told me this thrilling tale!
