A poem about winter from the perspective of a homeless man.
White-out weather blinds my sight,
Ice crystals hang down on my beard.
Numbness spreads, sapping my might.
My shivers weaken through the night.
Ere the dawn breaks I am afeared,
Reason says death shall be my plight.
