We can repair our country
With just one word
This word is honesty
In our government it is unheard

Synonymous with honor
Oh imagine that
Something our soldiers hold dear
Politicians could give a rat

Fairness sincerity and frankness
Freedom from deceit or fraud
Would this not be amazing
Teachings from our God

If only everyone practiced
This evidently lost value
All would be in the open
Everything would be true

This would bring trust
Anytime anyone anywhere
Truth is the same everyday
Nothing can compare
