A poem about a particular moment and transition in time.

A sliver of orange light

Through slits in blinds,

Existence becomes honey,

Trickling through time I

No longer have to make things right;

Moving images in memory parade like a

Popup picture book, and now I

See the blunders of youth and the

Fading smiles of loved ones,

And i once I taste that honey
