This is just my way of showing my appreciation to the women in our lives. I know that you might feel that you are forgotten. Your son’s and daughters, husbands, boyfriends, dad’s and grandpa’s not saying thank you for the little things that you do. Well, allow me to say that for them. Thank you for raising us, cleaning up, cooking for us, listening to us, being there when no one else was…Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know men have a problem with saying, “I love you” I’m not one of them…I LOVE YOU and for ALL the women that read this, it’s my way of HONORING YOU.
I want to take time
I have to recognize
The ladies in our lives
I’m talkin about our grandmothers
You remember them, right?
Sitting you on there knees
Teaching you about right
Passing on wisdom, like no other
She’s the sweetest women you know
Then there’s those mothers’
Who have shown love and understanding?
Willing to step in at any cost
She waits up worryin
And that’s not where her love ends
Let’s close with those wives
What can you say about them?
They have learn from the best
That wisdom from grandma
That insight from there mother-in-laws
Love and understanding from there mothers
So let’s give honor where honor is due
I salute all of you
