They are everything.
And, when I thought you no longer wanted me
I almost gave up
And, when I believed you had forgotten about the moments we shared
I almost took that other side trip
It seems it’s easy to forget about that person you met the other day
The one who smiled, seemed to have interest
But quickly disappeared behind the thoughts that swirled
In your mind
The worries of your day
The dreams that continue to grow steadily painting your visions
Are difficult to keep straight between all the new passings
You constantly meet everyday
You know that focus and simplicity always work best for you
But when you aren’t sure in the moment which path to take
You realize you don’t want to hurt anyone
Or go back on any promises you make
You merely want your dreams to come to fruition
You have a picture in your mind and you need to learn
How to better trust your heart and intuition
You can do anything, always know this
And, forever remember
True love, true friendship lie in your present and future
In your hopes and your dreams
And, please always know
That as you travel down this journey called life
Everything will come together, you will see
All you need to do is continue to believe.
