The sun is shining brightly today,
The birds are chirping merrily away,
The butterflies fluttering gliding by,
Oh! what a pretty sight, I sigh in delight.
Suddenly the sky is overcast,
The sun hidden by dark grey clouds,
The rain drops come pelting down,
Battering the earth with loud harsh sounds.
The twittering birds all fly away,
The colorful butterflies fade away,
The buzzing bees hide in the trees,
The wind howls amidst the foliage leaves.
Claps of thunder loudly resounds,
Echoing with a sinister sound,
The flash of lightning rips the sky,
Sending flashes of lights into the dark grey sky.
Suddenly, the sun is shining bright,
A colorful rainbow forms in the sky,
Flowers raise their heads as if to say,
There is hope in each and every day.
