We have been together almost eleven years

Marriage is my focus but it’s not your dear

As we live as one but not as one

Two single folks getting it on

A moral question on how we live

Two adults with kids

Hopeless dream for all involved

Hopeless dream that never moves on

The answer is before us

The question that should be answered

Hopeless dream is our choice

No one else needs to answer

Society needs a solution

The cost is everyone’s burden

We all live on this rock

No time to jump off

The struggle is made harder

For the dreamer not the followers

Hopeless dreams is not for everyone

We need to work together to progress

To avoid the problems that need not exist

Be the solution and not the chaos

Know to move forward you must not stop

You cannot be on the bottom and be on the top at once

Its difficult when goals are not the same. Still, how do each of the parties involve define marriage? For one it is merely the commitment to each other, while to another it’s the pomp & circumstance along with a piece of paper. With that thought in mind, how important is the marriage certificate and if it is a major source of conflict, perhaps the two should count their losses and move on.
