This is a poem about my current/ past relationship ….hoping it will work out. I have such trouble in relationships due to my mental illness, it puts quite a strain on me, as well as the one I am with. this has always been an ongoing thing with me as long as I can remember. It is heart breaking.
When I am with you, the whole world dissapears.
The connection between us is unlike anything I have ever had.
Your kisses make me melt, your tender touch sends chills through my entire body.
Deep in my heart I know you are the one for me, although right now we just have to let things be.
It will be hard for us to be apart, I know that we can make it through this.
I believe our love is the kind of love that can survive any obstacles thrown our way.
We have both hurt one another, this will happen no longer.
From this day on, I am only picturing it getting stronger.
I have never seen love in anyones eyes, like I see in yours.
I want to look into those eyes forever, only time will tell whether or not that will be.
I Love You……..and believe in “US”.
